What is Life Coaching?
Taking a professional and collaborative approach between coach and client, life coaching aims at assisting the client in achieving personal and business goals. People come to see a life coach to help them achieve their own personal successes in life.
Life Coaching derives many of its principles from psychology, while oftentimes incorporating elements from other approaches and therapies such as CBT, NLP, and Motivational Interviewing.
A life coach looks to empower their client by assisting them in achieving, and even exceeding, their personal and professional goals. This is achieved through the collaborative work maintained between coach and client. The approaches adopted and methods used during a session in achieving these aims can vary significantly between individual life coaches.
